Isaiah 42:6 • Matthew 17:5
From ancient whispers, a promise bright, A chosen Servant, a guiding light. "I've called you, purpose strong and true, My hand will hold, My strength renew. A covenant for all mankind, A beacon shining, for all to find."
Hark! From the cloud, a voice descends, "This is My Son, My soul commends! My Beloved, in whom I am pleased, O listen, listen, your hearts at ease!" This is the King unveiled, the truth revealed, His sacred words, forever sealed.
On hallowed mountain, His glory shown, His raiment dazzling, His power known. Not worldly might, nor thunder's roar, But gentle mercy, to heal and restore. The bruised reed cherished, the smoking flax fanned, A Servant's power, across the land.
The ancient voices fade from sight, Leaving only Jesus, pure and bright. His wisdom flowing, a living stream, Fulfilling every sacred dream. To listen close, to bend the knee, And live the light, for all to see.
Hark! From the cloud, a voice descends, "This is My Son, My soul commends! My Beloved, in whom I am pleased, O listen, listen, your hearts at ease!" This is the King unveiled, the truth revealed, His sacred words, forever sealed.
Listen to Him, the King revealed! Listen to Him, His glory unsealed! A light to nations, forevermore, Listen to Him, and adore!
